When you are deciding on the best keywords to use for your online marketing efforts with pay per click advertising or ranking your site naturally in the search engines, you’ll need a keyword software tool to let you know which phrases people are looking for.

Well, choosing the right keywords can actually be a pretty tricky task because if you choose to target highly searched phrases with tons of competition, you may not even get ranked in the top 100!

But the PPC keyword software tool that is head and shoulders above the rest (imho) is a nerdy sounding program called Google Cash Detective.
GCD has literally the most up to date database of PPC ads, your competition’s keywords, their ads and how long their ads for each keyword have been running, plus tons more. Its a bit on the pricey side at $97/mo, but compared to other ppc spying keyword software tools, it’s actually less expensive with a more frequently updated database – so you aren’t relying on data that’s a couple months old… I think there’s a $1 trial for seven days so you can decide if you like it or not. His video is a bit wordy, but when you get to the 8:39 mark he really gets into the meat of what the software will do for you.
Another very good PPC keyword software tool is Keyword Elite. Keyword Elite dives into not only PPC, but also optimization and analysis of other sites that rank organically for your particular keyword phrases. This thing is like the Ferarri of PPC and SEO keyword software generator tools. Ok, now buckle up for this…
You don’t have to pay for keyword software! Really. Most of them have trial versions or are completely free… like umm, the Google Keyword Tool.
