I have Zoombrowser Ex 5.8 – which is fabulous. However, I would like to properly assign Keywords/Tags to my vast collection of Photos and file them onto a DVD. However, I would still want to have the Keywords/tags filed with the photo so I can still search for them on the DVD. Does Zoombrowser save this information with the photos BEFORE they are burnt to DVD? Or should I purchase something else? I have also considered designing a database in Access, but that would take a lot of work? Your suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance …. T

Once files are on a CD or DVD they cannot be changed (on the disc). You will have to load the files on a computer, change the attributes of all the files (unchecked the read-only option) and then use a program that will allow you to add information to all your files.
Photoshop CS2 and CS3 (using Bridge) can do this in batches. Once the new information has been appended to each file, you can burn a new CD or DVD.

Adobe Lightroom works very well. In addition to archiving, it will do nearly anything you need in post processing. It works very quickly because it uses virtual copies of the images instead of loading the entire file like Bridge does. It does great in batches too.
